Use your animals' heat to warm up cold, incoming air

The SW unit is a compact air-to-air heat exchanger. With this heat exchanger, fresh cold, outside air is warmed by the warm barn air. The SW unit is equipped with an automatic flushing system that keeps the exchanger clean. This system can be used for both existing and new barns.

How does it work?
The outgoing warm stall air is guided along hollow plates. Through the inside of these plates, incoming fresh ventilation air flows into the house. The plates conduct the heat to the cold air without mixing these air flows. The warmed incoming ventilation air is blown into the barn via a Louvre system or via pipes.

SW finned exchanger - not a typical heat exchanger
The SW heat exchanger is not a typical heat exchanger. The SW distinguishes itself from comparable systems because its casing is made of corrosion-free 50 mm thick plastic. This type of casing is thermally and soundproof, as well as UV-resistant. The SW exchanger is also equipped with freely adjustable cleaning. During this cleaning, it is rinsed with plenty of water.
